Mrs. April Rottinghaus, Principal
April Rottinghaus serves as the principal of Wolf Springs Elementary. A proud graduate of Kansas State University, she holds a master’s degree in education, counseling, and leadership. Her career in education includes a decade of classroom teaching, as well as experience as an instructional coach and school counselor. Before joining Wolf Springs, she served as an assistant principal within the Blue Valley School District.
Rottinghaus is committed to fostering a learning environment where all students feel supported, challenged, and cared for. She values strong relationships with staff, students, and families, and is dedicated to continuing the rich traditions of excellence at Wolf Springs Elementary.
She and her husband, Tyler, have two children. As a family, they enjoy cheering on the Wildcats and traveling to the beach. Rottinghaus welcomes collaboration and community input and looks forward to continuing to serve the WSE community with enthusiasm and care.
